Out Sauce is a paraplanning service working alongside Australian financial advisers and licensees. We do not hold an AFSL. We do not carry licensee responsibility. Advice sits with the licensed adviser and their licensee, every time.
We draft. You sign. Nothing leaves the kitchen without your review.
We draft to your guidelines.
Best Interests Duty rests with the licensed adviser and the licensee. We work with practices and licensees on their guidelines, including BID. That means drafting to your scope of advice, your file-note conventions, and the reasonable-basis evidence your licensee expects to see in the file.
RG 146 covers advice.
We don't give advice.
RG 146 is the ASIC competency standard for providing personal financial product advice. Out Sauce does not provide advice. That stays with the licensed adviser. RG 146 does not apply to our scope.
What does apply: paraplanning craft, drafted by the same paraplanner you signed on with, reviewed before it leaves the kitchen.
We track the reforms.
Tranche 1 of the Delivering Better Financial Outcomes package has been in force since 10 January 2025. It primarily affects licensee operations: fee consents, FSGs on the website, conflicted-remuneration disclosures. It doesn't change how paraplanners draft.
Tranche 2, the proposed Client Advice Record in place of the SOA and the modernised Best Interests Duty, remains in consultation. SOAs are still SOAs. We'll adapt the workflow when it lands.
Privacy Act, APPs, Australian storage.
Out Sauce operates under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Australian-hosted storage. Access logged. A written confidentiality and data-handling agreement is signed at the start of every engagement. IT security in place.
Professional indemnity + cyber liability.
Out Sauce carries professional indemnity insurance and cyber liability cover at the company level. Cover sits over the draft work and the data-handling alongside it.
